Who it's for

Built for

  • People who already buy crypto regularly and are tired of doing it by hand
  • Anyone who wants a plan that does not depend on guessing the bottom
  • Long-term holders who want set rules for buying dips instead of panic or FOMO
  • People who want to stay in control of their own exchange account
The problem

Why this bot

DCA, or dollar-cost averaging, means buying a fixed amount on a regular schedule no matter the price. It is simple, but doing it by hand is easy to forget, and it is tempting to skip a buy when prices fall, which is often exactly when the plan says to buy.

Exchange recurring-buy features usually stop at a fixed schedule. They do not let you say "buy double if the price is down 10 percent this week" or "never spend more than this per month". This bot is planned to handle those rules for you.

How it will work

Three steps

  1. Set your rules

You will choose the coin, the amount, the schedule (daily, weekly, monthly) and optional dip rules, such as an extra buy when the price drops a set percent. You also set a monthly spending cap.

  2. Connect your exchange

The bot is planned to connect to your own exchange account through API keys with trading permission only and withdrawals turned off. Your coins stay in your account.

  3. Let it buy and report

The bot places buys on schedule, adds dip buys when your rules trigger, and sends a simple log of every purchase, price and fee.

Details

What it will and will not do

It is planned to buy only, by default. It will not sell, use borrowed money or move funds out of your account. It will stop when your spending cap is reached, even if a dip rule fires.

Status and risk

This bot is COMING: it is not built yet. DCA spreads out your timing, but it does not protect you from a coin falling and staying down. Crypto involves risk and you can lose money. Nothing here is investment advice.

What we are still deciding

Which exchanges come first, whether to support optional sell rules for taking profit, and how to handle exchange outages during a scheduled buy.

Trading stocks and crypto involves risk, and you can lose money. MinakiBots does not promise returns. Paper or past results don't guarantee future results. Nothing on this site is investment advice.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Is DCA better than lump sum investing?

It depends on what the price does afterward, which nobody knows ahead of time. Lump sum can come out ahead when prices rise steadily, and DCA can come out ahead when prices fall first. Many people choose DCA because it removes the stress of picking a moment.

Does DCA work for crypto?

DCA is a buying method, not a promise of returns. It smooths out the price you pay over time, but if a coin goes down and never recovers, you still lose money. It works best with coins you would be fine holding for years.

What is a DCA bot?

A DCA bot automatically buys a set amount of a coin on a schedule. Better ones also let you add rules, like buying more after a drop or capping monthly spending, which is what this bot is planned to do.

Should I buy the dip with a DCA bot?

Dip rules can lower your average cost if prices recover, and they can also mean buying more of something that keeps falling. That is why the bot is planned to have a hard monthly cap that dip buys cannot break.
