Google review alerts for small businesses
A new review sits unanswered for days because nobody saw it. We're building a bot that will tell you when your business gets a review or a mention, so you can respond while it still matters.
Built for
- Local shops, restaurants and service businesses
- Owners who handle their own reviews
- Managers of a few locations
- Anyone who wants to know when their name comes up online
Why this bot
Reviews land on several sites, and the notifications are easy to miss or turned off. A bad review with no reply looks worse every day it sits there, and a good one deserves a thank-you.
Mentions are harder still. Someone recommends you in a local forum or a news story names you, and you never find out. Tracking all of it by hand is a job nobody has time for.
Three steps
Add your business
Tell the bot your business name, location and the review pages you already have.
It watches for new activity
It is planned to check for new reviews and for public mentions of your name on a regular schedule.
You get a short alert
Each alert will show the star rating or snippet, where it appeared, and a link so you can reply.
What it will and will not do
It will tell you about new reviews and mentions. It will not post replies for you, write fake reviews, or ask anyone to remove a review. Replying stays in your hands.
Limits
Some review sites limit outside access, and mentions on private groups or closed apps cannot be seen. We will be clear about which sources are covered and which are not.
Still deciding
Which review sites come first, how mentions are searched, and whether owners of several locations get one combined daily summary.

Questions people ask
How do I get notified of new Google reviews?
Your Google Business Profile can send notifications if they are turned on for the right account. Many owners miss them because the alerts go to an old email. This bot is planned to send review alerts by text, email or Discord, alongside other review sites.
How do I track mentions of my business online?
You can set up free web alerts for your business name, though they can be slow and miss a lot. A mention tool checks more places on a schedule. This bot is being built to do that for small businesses and is not available yet.
Should I reply to every Google review?
Replying to most reviews, especially negative ones, shows customers you are listening. Keep replies short, polite and specific. The sooner you see a review, the easier that is.
Will the bot reply to reviews for me?
No. It is planned to alert only. Replies should come from you, in your own words.
