Website down alerts sent straight to your phone
You should hear your site is down from a bot, not from a customer. We're building an uptime monitor that will check your site around the clock and text you as soon as it stops answering.
Built for
- Small business owners with a website
- Freelancers who look after client sites
- Developers with side projects or APIs
- Anyone who has learned about an outage too late
Why this bot
Sites go down for ordinary reasons: an expired certificate, a full disk, a host outage, a bad update. Without monitoring, the first sign is a lost sale or an annoyed message.
Many monitoring tools are built for large teams, with dashboards and settings you do not need. Most small sites just need one honest question answered: is it up, and if not, since when.
Three steps
Add your site
Enter the address you want watched. You can add a word that must appear on the page, so a blank error page counts as down.
It checks regularly
The bot is planned to check from more than one place, so one bad network path does not set off a false alarm.
Your phone buzzes
When the site is confirmed down, you will get a text, email or Discord message, and another when it recovers, with how long it was out.
What it will and will not do
It will tell you when your site is unreachable, slow, or showing an error, and warn before your security certificate expires. It will not fix the problem or restart your server.
Limits
An uptime check sees what a visitor sees from outside. It cannot tell you why the site is down, only that it is, and short blips between checks can be missed.
Still deciding
How often checks run, how many sites each person can add, and how text alerts work in different countries.

Questions people ask
How do I get an alert when my website goes down?
Use an uptime monitor: a service that visits your site on a schedule and alerts you when it fails. This bot is being built to do that with text, email and Discord alerts. It is not available yet; join early access to be told when it is.
Can I get uptime monitor alerts by SMS?
Yes, many monitors support text alerts, sometimes only on paid plans. Text alerts are planned as a core part of this bot, since a phone buzz is harder to miss than an email.
How often should I check if my website is up?
Every one to five minutes is common for small sites. More frequent checks catch short outages but can raise more false alarms, which is why confirming from a second location matters.
Why does my website keep going down?
Common causes are hosting outages, traffic spikes, expired certificates or domains, full disks, and broken updates. A history of when outages happen often points to the cause.
